Did you know that around 6 million kilos of bitter oranges are discarded every year in Seville?
At Remonda, we believe great things can be done with them.
We are a circular economy start-up that transforms organic waste into sustainable and local biomaterials.
Born in Seville to give a second life to the city’s bitter oranges, we develop biomaterials from their peel to reduce the use of conventional plastics, offering bio-based and biodegradable alternatives.
Projection – Remonda Bio
Promoting a sustainable vision to develop a circular industry. We have a long-term vision, with a strong interest in combining biotechnological innovation and industrial development to transform waste into sustainable solutions. Our long-term goal is to create a bioplastic from orange peel through advanced processes.
